BDO Christchurch is on the move

Dear clients and friends of the firm
At the end of each financial year we all start to think about the year ahead and what the year will bring for our businesses. We are very pleased to announce to you, that for BDO Christchurch, the year ahead will include moving our business into new, spacious and state of the art offices back in the heart of the Christchurch CBD.
We have been out of the Christchurch CBD for six years, but it’s now time for us to return. Staying in our ‘temporary’ offices out in Russley for so long has given us plenty of time to find the right new cost effective business premises in the right part of the CBD.
It was important to us to find just the right building that is safe and will enable easy access for our clients and our staff. There are ample car parks in the basement of the building (access via Armagh Street), it is 5-star green rated and is built to 130% of the new building code.
Our new offices have been designed with both clients and staff in mind. We will have more client meeting rooms than we have currently and we will have two Board rooms. All client facilities will be much improved to those at our Russley location. We have invested in quality IT solutions, furniture and accessories. The offices will be light, bright and open plan with the internal configuration making the best use of natural sunlight.
We were also keen to make sure the majority of building demolitions and major road works were over before we moved. All of these things will have been substantially achieved by the time 30 June 2017 rolls around.
We will extend an invitation to you in due course to visit us at our new location once we are settled in but in the meantime, please take note that our new business address from 1 July 2017 will be:
