EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Michael has over 12 years professional experience in Audit and Assurance services supporting a range of clients from not-for-profit entities to public and private companies. He has worked with various sectors including distribution, manufacturing, education, not-for-profits, charities, health providers and Māori Authority entities.
Michael has extensive knowledge for entities reporting under New Zealand International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Public Benefit Entity reporting for both for-profit and not-for-profit entities, Public Sector Reporting and Special Purpose Framework.
Michael is passionate about providing the following key services to clients: Assurance services such as internal and external audit, reviews and agreed upon procedure engagements, providing technical/financial accounting advice, reviewing regulatory requirements, assessing system control and making appropriate recommendations for improvement.
