Executive Summary
Michael was born, bred and schooled in Melbourne, Australia. He gained his Chartered Accounting Experience in Big 4 accounting in Melbourne, specialising in audit, before embarking on his OE to London. He gained 4 years commerce and industry experience contracting as a Finance and Commercial Business Partner, before returning to Melbourne in 2017.
Following his family orientated move to Invercargill in January 2019, he joined the BDO Invercargill team, taking a leading role in providing Consulting and Advisory services to clients. His specialty is the provision of virtual CFO (vCFO) and Information Systems services.
Specifically, Michael provides:
- Business and Information Systems reviews, including Xero and related app advisory.
- Preparation and review of cashflows, 3-way forecasting, monthly management accounts and business plans.
- Business development and general business process improvement, including reviewing possible internal automation.
