BDO provides due diligence advice on Webjet’s acquisition of Online Republic

BDO’s Auckland Firm recently provided the Webjet deal team with due diligence advice, during their $85m acquisition of Online Republic.
ASX listed Webjet is a global digital travel business, spanning both regional consumer markets (through B2C) and global wholesale markets (through B2B). In B2C, Webjet operates Australia and New Zealand's #1 online travel agency, and leads the way in online travel tools and technology for consumers in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. In B2B, it operates prominent market brands Sun Hotels and Lots of Hotels, providing the online fulfilment of hotel bookings for their travel agent partners throughout the globe.
Online Republic is a global travel group specialising in cruise, car rental and motorhome travel bookings, with a focus on providing better value, advice and service to customers. Further detail on the transaction can be found here.
