Xero and Hubdoc for dairy, taking the pain out of processing

19 August 2020

Recently Xero has upgraded their functionality to include Hubdoc. Hubdoc is an additional technology now integrated in Xero, it allows you to easily get bills and receipts into Xero by uploading them directly via emails from your suppliers, scanner or mobile. Hubdoc then extracts the key information and publishes the document and the data straight into Xero, and removes the need for you to manually key this information in.  The great news is that you get all of this extra functionality included in your standard Xero subscription, so no extra cost for the benefit of saving you time.

In conjunction with Dairy NZ, BDO Taranaki ran a webinar on Xero and this new functionality “Xero for Dairy” with great success.  During the webinar, specialists from BDO Taranaki discuss how to harness Xero to improve your accounting process. They also introduced Hubdoc for document storage and efficiently capturing invoices, thus removing the need for the invoices to be manually keyed in.  For farming businesses this is using technology to save time in processing and administration, ensuring less time spent in the office and creating more time for tasks that drive the bottom line.

We invite you to watch the above webinar video to learn more about:

  1. Tips & tricks for GST processing in Xero
  2. What are the common failures when setting up Xero for your business and how these can be easily avoided?
  3. Time-saving practices Xero and Hubdoc can provide to your business
  4. Streamlining your accounting processes
  5. A question and Answer session concluding the webinar
