The BDO summer of cycling

At BDO, we back our people and our communities both in and out of the office. We back wellbeing – which is why we support cycling and events across Aotearoa. Each year, our BDO summer of cycling sees us sponsor races from Cape Reinga to Bluff, with people of all abilities participating in challenging and rewarding rides.

We're committed to supporting some of the highest profile events across New Zealand – helping to get people out of their cars and onto their bikes, becoming fit and active and reducing our carbon footprint all at the same time.

Cycling is close to our hearts – many of our clients and staff are passionate cyclists. We know that to take part in a race, you need planning, resilience, teamwork and someone to monitor your wellbeing - just like when times are tough in business.

SBS Bank Tour of Southland
October 30 – November 5 2022
The Tour of Southland (NZ’s premier professional cycle race) has been running for more than 60 years and has attracted many international riders.

November 5 - November 13, 2022 
The Crankworx World Tour is where ordinary humans perform the extraordinary and launch into the realm of the unimaginable, riding faster, climbing further, flying higher and going bigger than what was once thought to be possible.

BDO Tour of Northland
March 16, 2023
The event will follow Northland’s fully sealed Twin Coast Discovery Highway which touches New Zealand’s essence: unsurpassed nature estate, scenery, fishing, diving, walks, culture and heritage, golf, food, wine and people. You will discover New Zealand in a nutshell. Cyclists of all abilities are welcome to participate – elite riders, competitive masters, weekend warriors, cycling tourists, and social or corporate groups – this is a fun few days with a great bunch.
