EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Known for solving problems, opening doors, and coming up with new ideas to get the job done, Scott Kennedy is the managing partner of BDO Whangarei.

While acting for a diverse client base across a variety of key industries, most notably Manufacturing, Small to Medium Business and Family Enterprise. Scott excels at creating and maintaining strong client relationships, while treating their business as if it was his own.

As a Whangarei local, Scott is able to draw on his knowledge of the region, while providing his clients with the insight and resources of industry specialists throughout the country, and in many cases around the world, through his access to the global BDO network.  

Scott offers assistance in specialist areas including Family Trust Management, Restructuring, Succession Planning, Valuations and Matrimonial Property Matters; consequently his clients see immense value in involving him in all key business decisions.

Outside of the office Scott is an outdoor advocate, who can be found participating in various local and national events, including the BDO Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, BDO Tour of Northland, the wild kiwi and the Parahaka trail run, to name a few.

In addition, Scott has a strong community interest having previously served on various community boards including local school Board of Trustees and cultural club committees.
